Description
Cobec Engineering pre qualified through the main contractor for this public works project and were appointed to deliver the electrical & mechanical installation contract for the new Science Foundation Ireland offices.
The project consisted of a full Cat B fit out to 2 floors of office space. All systems tested, commissioned, validated and demonstrated.
Scope of Works
The electrical scope of works consisted of the following
- High and low level cable containment installation
- LV Power installation
- General service outlet installation
- General and emergency lighting installations
- Lighting control system
- UPS installation
- Fire & intruder alarm system installation
- Disabled toilet alarm system installation

The mechanical scope of works consisted of the following
- Modification of the drainage system
- Air conditioning system installation
- Complete plumbing installation
- Chilled water and LPHW installation
- Waste pump installation
- Fan coil unit installation
- BMS system installation and integration
